| AWANA A ministry for children pre-school to sixth grade. AWANA has clubs for each age level and meets on Wednesdays at 6:15 during the school year. Each clubber is encouraged to know Christ as their Savior, memorize Bible verses, and complete the club handbook. Uniforms are required and special events such as camping trips, lock-ins and the AWANA Grand Prix are held each year. | Alliance Youth For 7th-12th graders, AY meets Wednesdays at 6:15 during the school year. The group meets off-site at the parsonage and is led by Mark & Mickie Fluharty. Teens are challenged to think through the issues facing them at this pivotal age and discover God's special plan for their lives. Food, fellowship and lots of fun too. MUMS Mothers are special people and face unique challenges raising tomorrow's leaders. MUMS, an acronym for Mothers Uplifting Mothers, is here to reach out to mothers in the community and to provide support for those who have the most important job in the world. MUMS meets monthly on the first Thursday at 11:00; lunch is served and nursery and childcare are provided. | Alliance Women Open to all women, this ministry is for missions-minded women who want to see the Gospel preached to every nation. The Alliance Women meet monthly on the 2nd Sunday evening at 6:30 for fellowship, personal encouragement and to discuss and pray for missions. The Alliance Women also adopt missionary kids to pray, encourage and send care packages throughout the year. Each May the group sponsors the Ladies Friendship Banquet and in the Spring the ladies attend the Central District Women's Retreat. You are invited to find your place in this exciting ministry. |
| Honor Bound The Men's ministry of our church is called HonorBound, Men of Integrity. We meet on the second Sunday evening of each month at 6:30 p.m. Each year during football season, we take the Quarterback Challenge and participate in Holy Huddles; come see what they are. Free bottled water give-aways at local community events are scheduled yearly. Discipleship classes are also available as well as fellowship activities such as weekly basketball games during the winter, golf outings, and trips to local sporting events like the Akron Aeros, Washington Wild Things, and the Wheeling Nailers. All men are welcomed to join. |
| PRIMETIME A ministry to seniors that has had a tremendous impact in our community. Led by Pastor Jack and Vivian McKimmie, the Primetime dinner is held monthly on the fourth Friday night at 6:00. Dinner, games, laughs, special guests, devotionals and prayer make for a terrific evening with an average attendance of 55. Primetime shirts and ball caps are available and come embroidered with your name. Each year Primetime attends the Deeper Life Retreat in Amish Country at the beautiful Carlisle Inn in Sugar Creek. |
